RDM AC760 Bass & Cello "Slip Stop" Rockstop - Recommended Only For Double Bass Players or Beginner Cello Players

Suitable for Double Bass or beginner cellists who have their end pin at a more vertical orientation (i.e. from 0 degrees from vertical [ | ] up to but not beyond 25 degrees from vertical [ / ]).

A quick note from our resident cello expert Chris:

"These rock stops are known to move if used on a floor that is highly polished or slippery (i.e. wood floor, stone or other smooth surface). They are NOT suitable for cello players who are beyond the early stages of playing and they will cause a massive headache to gigging musicians who use them on stage - no one wants to be playing and then have their instrument suddenly slide out from under them. I recently saw this happen with a college student cello player playing with their quartet on stage - he finally resorted to stabbing his end pin (mid song) into the wood floor out of frustration! I recommend that these be used ONLY for very early beginner cello players or double bass players because they keep their instruments in a more vertical orientation. If you are in high school, college or beyond - please consider getting a strap rock stop - you won't be disappointed."

For advanced players or cellists who like to have their end pin projected further out we highly recommend the Xeros Strap or the Otto Music Artino Strap
