Perfect for beginners just starting out.
We’ll cover the essentials to get you playing with confidence:

How to tune using fine tuners

How to use the “A” peg to tune your “A” (based on age/maturity)
-
How to hold your instrument (pizzicato-style & shoulder position for violin/viola)
-
Bow hold & playing open strings (detaché: down-up bowing)
-
One-octave G or C Major Scale (pizzicato)
-
Group music using open strings (pizzicato & bow, if time permits)
Need Finger Tapes?
Call us by Friday before 6:00 PM and arrive Saturday at 9:30 AM.
Music will be emailed within 2 days after payment is received.
Please bring printed music to class.
(From home, library, Staples, Office Depot, or a friend with a printer.)
